The lying is just the last straw, seeing as how I was already canceling because of other reasons. The front desk is rude and unhelpful; they outright lied about being able to transfer a massage after cancellation.
I have had multiple massages canceled at the last minute because the masseuse 'doesn't work here anymore' due to how poorly they run the place. I still have 5 hours' worth of massages left, and I don't even want to go there to use them.
I am not happy and will make sure everyone I know, and anyone I meet from now on, knows how terrible they are. I would recommend going literally anywhere else, and it would be a better option.

I need to cancel my membership and was told I had to go in to the location. I am disabled and cannot go in.
I asked for a reasonable accommodation, like emailing me the form, and was denied. They refused to make any accommodations for me to be able to cancel my membership.
Now I am unable to cancel and have to keep paying because I'm disabled. That doesn't seem right.

Seek help
I received a call from the facility requesting my presence at 4:30 PM today. In response, I left my workplace early and arrived at the facility by 4:18 PM. Upon my arrival, the front desk attendant informed me that my appointment was not until 5:30 PM. I was not contacted by anyone to inform me of this discrepancy.
Furthermore, there was no manager on site, and the employee seemed unsure of how to proceed. I was not accommodated, and I was advised that if I left, it would be considered a cancellation, despite the fact that Massage Envy had instructed me to arrive earlier, only to subsequently be unable to attend to me until my original appointment time. The employee appeared to be at a loss, repeatedly attempting to contact a manager and texting, ultimately advising me to simply wait.
As a result of this experience, I will no longer be utilizing this location and intend to cancel my membership. I have never felt so unwelcome and disregarded, and it is particularly ironic that I sought relaxation but am leaving with the opposite sentiment.

I brought in a coupon with no expiration date that said I was entitled to a free massage, but when I went to pay, they said that since prices have gone up, I still needed to pay a partial fee for the massage. This is terrible considering the coupon was not a monetary value but offered a free massage. I won't be going back!

I was scheduled for 9:00am massage. They didn't open the store until 9:10 and I had to sit out in the rain waiting.
The place was freezing, the bed wasn't warmed up and it was very difficult to get comfortable being that I was cold and wet.
The massage was okay. I did say I have fibromyalgia, so it should have been light pressure, but it was too firm at times.

Horrible and un professional
I just came in to get some products and scheduled a massage and was told my credits (3 months' worth) had expired. I asked to speak to a manager, and there was no one on site to talk to—just a meek little girl that doesn't know how or what to do and has no idea who to call in case of emergency—she has no answers.
I need either a refund if my money is stolen or product, but at this point, I need answers to where my money is.
Looks like they sign you up, take your money, then expire your credits so you can't get service. I have been hearing/reading bad reviews, and now I have to agree this place is not professional, and it wasn't very clean in the lobby today.

This is the worse company to deal with. Never sign a deal with them. They will continue to withdrawal money even after you cancel.

I had an agreed-upon arrangement with having two memberships for my husband and me. We've maintained these memberships for two plus years, and when I reached out to transfer credits, the office manager refused to give me a call.
I called a number of ten plus times within two weeks and left six messages to get a call. It wasn't until they relentlessly gave me the corporate number that I received a call. That number led me to payroll, which did reach out to her, and she called me within 45 mins. Explain to me why I'm having to jump through hoops and there is essentially no manager above this location that I can speak with.
The services are great, but management couldn't be worse. Would not recommend to anyone again and will be canceling my membership after two plus years on principle and lack of communication.

My last massage was on August 28, 2025. I informed the receptionist when I went to check out that that was gonna be my last visit because I was moving.
She didnt tell me that I need to fill out a cancellation phone. I woke up this morning and seeing where they charged me for another month I shouldnt have been charged for another month so I went to try to resolve the problem. They gonna tell me theyre not gone to tell me that I need to fill out a cancellation form.
I have to ask for it. How can you ask for something that you know nothing about.

On March 27th I received a call that my massage was canceled because my therapist had called in. Thankfully I had that therapist personal number and was able to contact her personally to let her know what happened.
So I was still able to get that massage but they offered me no compensation. I almost didn't have a car for that day because I live 30 minutes outside Reno or Sparks and I only have one car that can make it to Reno. Well today I called to confirm my appointment for today that I'd made probably 2 months ago. I was informed I did not have a massage for today.
I made it the same time as the one for the end of the month on the 24th. So whoever did that appointment was the one that was supposed to record the other one. I have been coming here to the same location in Sparks since 2011 and have had more problems in the last 2 years then I have the whole time I've been coming to massage envy. Also having pretty much not many massage therapist to choose from.
I always have had a second person but find it very difficult to find another person right now because everyone I've tried has left and that is recent. It's like they can't keep people there. I don't know well with the manager like Emma. I'm not sure I'm not surprised.
I also have a friend that's had a hard time finding a person too. She also has a membership like I do. Also I've been coming there since 2011 because I have very severe chronic pain and I just had my knee replaced and need the other one replaced.
So I'm always in pain not to get pain relief today. I'm beyond upset.

I have been a customer with Massage Envy for more than 4 years. I've never had an issue. The massage therapist was caressing my neck, and I told him that that wasn't a massage.
So I ended the session early. I never even told him why I was ending it early.

Company could of left me put my acct on hold (without catching up rears,that time would of been 3 months)instead manager at wyomissing canceled my acct ( found out the other day when receptionist called me)never emailed me,I looked.which forfeit 8 paid credits I did have!!!would of used them else ,ifneed be.she insisted i had to catch up,before i could of used them my niece could of took me to king of prussa,or used them in Arizona, when i visit my niece.bad enough the one lady is no longer at wyomissing. Reimbursed my money for 8,or give them to me.
