This company is the worst.Not only are their massages crappy, they trick you into membership signing and there is no way to get out of it!!HATE!! Now you might be thinking that it's unreasonable to say that this is a company policy because one person did this… Every masseuse I've ever had at massage envy has done this. This is not an isolated incident. The real issue is that life gets busy and you can't always use the prepays so they start to roll over. In my opinion $114 for a 60-minute massage from Massage Envy's "no frills" operation is not reasonable. When checking out after my last massage, I asked to cancel my membership. I was told I had to pre-pay for the next months massage because "I was close to the monthly renewal date", and that I had 30 days to use all 5 of my pre-paid massages. Canceled membership, had 2 hrs left, was told by Monroe, La envy that I would have 90 days to use, tried to make appt for today, said they called Hoover, AL where I signed up at, that my hours had expired, there contract is 60 days. I called Hoover, would not work with me , was very rude. So I lost 2 hrs because I was told wrong by Monroe. Very unhappy !

I was a member for quite some time. I was moving out of state and money was tight, so obviously couldn't afford the $60 a month. Tried canceling, called and emailed them. 6 months later, I get a bill in the mail from collection agency saying I owe $299.99. I haven't used any of their services in over 6 months. This company is so frustrating!!

MEMBERSHIP MEANS NOTHING! If you're in a different city you have to pay more money even with membership. No difference from walking in off the street. Matter of fact you get a better deal off the street. What a rip off. You'll slowly start seeing them closing stores as soon as all these lousy memberships expire. Massages are nice too bad this is not the place to get them.

I received a gift card and went to the Plymouth location for a facial.The clinician was very good and I had no complaints regarding her services. The front desk staff explained the membership and stated that I could place it on hold or cancel at any time.
